About

Artist Samantha Turner, better known as S.Rose, was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago and has always had creative talent. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Studio drawing and science. She is inspired to create work that reflects the beauty of modern African American culture and the city of Chicago. She also has a background in restaurants as a sous chef and restaurant management. Currently, Samantha creates art full-time and has been experiencing increased success in monetizing her original art and creating art products. Her work has been displayed in places such as Chicago art galleries, event spaces/cafes, The House of Blues, and the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank. S.Rose specializes in creating hand painted hats.
